I was planning on updating the blog with a comparison a week. I'll be in transit this Friday to Kyoto so this week's comparo comes a little early. Amaya's new version of King obviously has more detail so now you can see a bit more of a frown as well as his mouth and whiskers. It still uses the original palette, we just have more pixels to work with. He definitely looks a lot closer to the in-game portrait now.
