Back Home, Almost Rested and Packing for Japan
I've been home exactly for a day after Nintendo's big fall media summit and haven't decided if I'm tired, excited or both. In less than two days I leave for TGS and will spend the better half of October in Tokyo, Niigata and Kyoto--the latter of which is to meet up with Pixel.
Back to the Nintendo event, it was pretty amazing. The response to Cave Story was overwhelming and made all the work leading up to the event worth it. Sadly I didn't have a chance to play Conduit while there, but I did have the pleasure of meeting Kyle Gabler and Ron Carmel. Together the two make up 2DBoy--hmm, I just made them sound like Voltron.
Anyway, great game and I've been following the progress of World of Goo for sometime. It's just over a week before the game is out. I'm planning on bringing my US Wii to Japan and, hopefully, downloading the game on the 13th. If all goes well, I'd like to see what Pixel thinks of the game. If you own a Wii, you should really pick this one up.
